Today, another Tumblr-meme. A list of Halloween themed questions – which seem appropriate given that its mid-October. Right? Whee!

\n- What’s your favourite scary movie or story?<\/li>\n
That’s impossible. I love scary movies and stories. Right now, I’m totally into “The Walking Dead” (like most of America) and so that’s probably my choice for the moment.<\/p>\n
- Favourite horror or Halloween-themed song?<\/li>\n
The “Halloween” theme song gives me chills to this day.<\/p>\n
- What are some things you’re most afraid of?<\/li>\n
Failure. Death. Snakes. My teeth falling out. Mushrooms growing out of my flesh.<\/p>\n
- Does anything creep you out but in a good way?<\/li>\n
Of course – that’s why I dig horror movies!<\/p>\n
- Name something you wouldn’t want to run into down a dark alley or in an abandoned building.<\/li>\n
Illithids. Beholders. My ex-fiance.<\/p>\n
- Favourite horror monster or villain?<\/li>\n
Classic Dracula\/Vampire<\/p>\n
- Do you believe in ghosts?<\/li>\n
I want to say no, but then again – I am fairly sure I used to hear my Great-Grandmother rocking upstairs in her chair when I lived in the Thorp Farmhouse (when she was long dead and the chair was long gone).<\/p>\n
- The creepiest thing that’s ever happened while you were alone?<\/li>\n
See previous question. Also, the time I thought (as a small – say, 8 years old – child) I saw a serial murderer\/arsonist as my sister and our friend, Shelly, and I walked through the recently burned down wildlands behind our house. We FUH-REAKED the eff out – totally mental psych-out.<\/p>\n
- What’s the best Halloween costume you’ve ever seen or worn?<\/li>\n
…uh, witch? Repeatedly as a child. Or um… a zombie one year.<\/p>\n
- Best Halloween experience?<\/li>\n
Most years, as a kid, dressed up and getting candy.<\/p>\n
- Ever been to a haunted house?<\/li>\n
Yes! They’re fun and scary and horrible and awesome! I want to go to one this year, but we probably can’t afford it.<\/p>\n
- What about a cornfield maze?<\/li>\n
Yes, but not a scary one. <\/p>\n
- If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it?<\/li>\n
Uhhh, is there a million bucks cash in it for me? Like in “House on Haunted Hill”?<\/p>\n
- Have any specific Halloween traditions?<\/li>\n
We used to carve pumpkins every year. Make roasted pumpkin seeds. Pass out candy. Dress-up. Mark and I don’t do any of that. We always talk about “doing it right this year” but we never quite manage it. It’ll be different once we have kids.<\/p>\n
- Are you superstitious?<\/li>\n
A little more than I’d like to be. Hah!\n<\/ul>\n
